Linh Nguyen began her time in Texas 26 years ago when her parents moved from the Midwest to start up their own business. Instantly falling in love with the state, she attended The University of Texas at Austin for both her undergraduate studies and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. To give back, Linh has served for many years as a UT student preceptor and previously on the UT College of Pharmacy's admissions committee.
Currently, Linh is the Director of Compounding at Tarrytown Pharmacy. As the lead direction behind the compounding lab, Linh is passionate about spreading education about bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). She ensures that patients have their needs met through personalized compounding. Tarrytown Pharmacy's priority shipping service allows her to spread the range of Tarrytown Pharmacy's compounding services to at-need areas outside of Austin, too.
Outside the pharmacy, you may find her exploring a new local restaurant or enjoying the latest Austin hotspot with her husband and two young daughters.
Hang considers herself an honorary "Texan" because she has lived in the Lone Star State since age 4. Hang considers herself the black sheep in her family because she is the only child out of four that does not hold an engineering degree. She attended the University of Texas in Austin with the intention of obtaining a Chemical Engineering Degree but developed a strong interest in pharmacy while taking a biology class. She earned a pharmacy degree in 1996. Hang enjoys giving over the counter recommendations, as well as, counseling patients on their medication. She loves working with prescribers to tailor medications for patients' specific needs. When Hang is not in the pharmacy she is spending time with her two children, Jacob and Sara, or shopping at the latest sales.
Jessica Frasier was the PGY-1 resident at Tarrytown Pharmacy from 2020-2021, and we are fortunate to have her stay on as one of our full-time pharmacists!
She is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and graduated with her PharmD from The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy where she served as NCPA chapter president. Before arriving in Austin, Jessica worked at her local independent pharmacy where she started as a cashier during her senior year of high school. It was at this pharmacy where her passion for independent pharmacy and ownership flourished.
Her interests within pharmacy include diabetes education and advocating for the independent pharmacy industry. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active with outdoor activities like paddleboarding and hiking as well as getting creative in the kitchen!
